Quality backcountry brilliance is now built to split. We took our backcountry masterpiece and took it a split further. Working with the dedicated and committed staff at Baldface Lodge, we designed and built a board they could split, rip and rely on. An essential tool for guides and those that like to venture out of bounds, this board is built to break into trek skis. By unclipping the board and revolving the bindings into touring mode, you can hike out and up the mountain side. Climbing in split mode allows you to purposely travel up and through the mountains.

  • Out Of Bounds Opulence. Deep Backcountry. Splitboarding. Hiking. Touring. Powder. No Lift Lines.

A lower angle on the tail height gives you the ability to kick turn and transition with ease when in split mode and walking uphill. Once you reach your destination, you snap it back together into a snowboard and enjoy the fresh tracks you earned and deserve. When sizing your new TailGunner Split, keep your pack weight in mind. The heavier the gear you carry, the bigger your split should be. This will give you the stability you need when in touring mode. Having more board length will also make turns even more fluid when riding down hill.
